Draft. This page is a plain English draft and still needs review by a lawyer before we rely on it.
Privacy
Kids’ data, in plain words
- We collect only what the academy or school enters: name, age or grade, attendance, rankings and progress notes. No photos of kids are required, and we never ask a child for an email.
- Parents give consent on the sign up form. Academies are responsible for consent for players they add themselves.
- No ads, no selling, no sharing with data brokers. Ever.
- A parent can ask the academy, or us, to see or delete their child’s data. We aim to finish deletions within 30 days.
- When an academy closes its account, we plan to delete its players’ data after a 90 day grace period, so the academy can export it first.
MatchPoint stores what a coach enters so the team can run a season or a class. We do not sell that information.
Account
A username and a password hash. If you add a coach email, we store that too.
School teams
School name, roster, player names, gender, ranks, lineups, and meet scores. Player names are often names of minors.
Clubs
Location, groups, attendance, evaluations, and player progress. Attendance and evaluations are about the players in that class, who are often minors. Court booking and payment records from your other systems are not stored here.
Payments
Stripe processes the card. MatchPoint stores the Stripe customer id, the plan, and the seat or location count. Card numbers stay with Stripe.
Who can see it
The account that owns the workspace, and coaches that account invites. MatchPoint staff can see a record only to operate the service or to handle a request you send below.
Ask for a deletion
Send the email on the account and what you want removed. We use that message to find the workspace and delete the account data you name.
